Short version

Pawclue keeps your streak and earned stamps in your browser's localStorage. There is no account, no email, no cookies, no fingerprinting, and no data sold to anyone. Ever. We do use Vercel Analytics to measure aggregate usage — see below.

What we store

  • localStorage on your device: which puzzles you've attempted, which answer you picked, your streak counts. Stays on your device. Never leaves the browser.
  • Server logs (Vercel default): IP address and user agent, kept ~24 hours for abuse prevention. Not associated with any account because there are no accounts.
  • Vercel Analytics: aggregate, anonymous page views and event counts (e.g., how many people started a puzzle today, how many shared a result). No cookies, no fingerprinting, no personal data. Used only to know which puzzles are working.

What we don't store

  • • No email addresses.
  • • No advertising identifiers, behavior pixels, or tracking cookies.
  • • No cross-site tracking — Vercel Analytics is first-party and aggregate-only.
  • • No cookies beyond what your browser uses for localStorage.

Deleting your data

Clear your browser's localStorage for this site. That's it. There's nothing on our servers to delete.

When this might change

If a future version of Pawclue offers cross-device syncing or social features (Phase 2+), we'll add optional accounts. Until then, no servers know who you are.
